What is the difference between an interlibrary loan book and a book that comes from another Northwestern library (intercampus)?

Books from other NU campus libraries (e.g., Main Library in Evanston) can be requested via NUsearch (library catalog) for pickup at the law library. These books usually take 1-2 business days to arrive.

If NU Libraries does not own a title, you may submit an interlibrary loan request for it. If one of the Northwestern University libraries cannot provide you with a book you need, we can attempt to get a copy from another library in the United States. The library that is lending us the book will determine the due date for the book and whether or not the book can be renewed. These books usually take at least 1-2 weeks or longer to arrive. Please note that you cannot request casebooks/textbooks via ILL.
